The Digital Immigration Card (DI Card) is a mandatory form that every visitor must complete in order to clear immigration when entering Curaçao.
You may submit your DI Card through curacao-immigration.com/register. Once submitted, our system verifies your details and delivers the DI Card according to the timing you select:
- If you apply within 7 days before departure, your DI Card will be processed and delivered based on the speed option you choose during the application (urgent, standard, or normal). The fee for each option is clearly shown in Step 3 of the form.
- If you apply earlier than 7 days before departure, your DI Card will automatically be delivered to your email exactly 7 days before your departure date.
Once delivered, you will receive a confirmation email with your DI Card in PDF format. This document can be shown digitally on your phone or printed upon arrival in Curaçao.
All travelers staying at least one night and up to 90 nights in Curaçao for leisure, business, or family visits must complete the DI Card.
Visitors are not allowed to perform paid work for local residents or Curaçao-based companies. The maximum total stay as a visitor is 180 days per calendar year.

Previously, the Embarkation & Disembarkation (ED) Card was handed out during flights to Curaçao. Since October 1, 2019, this has been fully replaced by the Digital Immigration Card, which can only be completed online.
Yes. For every new trip to Curaçao, you need to complete a new DI Card. You can simply submit a new application again through curacao-immigration.com/register.
No. The passport you used when submitting the DI Card must be the same passport you travel with.
Yes, you can add fellow travelers to your application. Each traveler still requires an individual DI Card, but you may register them together in a single submission. An additional charge applies per traveler, which will be clearly shown in the final step of the form.
Yes. Every traveler, including infants and children, must have their own DI Card. Parents/guardians should use their own email address when submitting the form for minors.
Yes. The DI Card can be submitted up until one hour before arrival in Curaçao. For last-minute applications within 7 days of departure, your card will be processed and delivered according to the speed option chosen in Step 3 of the form.
The DI Card is required by Curaçao’s immigration authorities. Without it, you cannot complete immigration procedures upon arrival.
Yes, if you:
- Are 18 years or older.
- Hold a passport with an electronic chip.
- Have Canadian, US, or European nationality.
Travelers with children under 18 must proceed to the immigration officer queue.
No. Final admission is always at the discretion of the immigration officer at the airport.
If you made a mistake or your travel plans change, you must edit your DI Card via the official site: dicardcuracao.com/dicard.
Your DI Card remains valid for at least one day after your originally planned arrival. Immigration officers will update the travel details when you arrive on your new flight.
Your DI Card is valid for the trip details you submitted. For future trips, you must submit an updated or new card with the correct travel details.
Yes, if you must check in again with another airline during your transit. In that case, you are required to complete the DI Card.
